Iggy Azalea is the cover girl for #Legend magazine. Azalea looks incredible in the issue and provided updates on the direction of her career. She build her loyal fan base through YouTube by posting her music and videos. She was soon discovered through the network and in 2014, she became internationally known. Name after her dog Iggy and the name of the street she lived on in Australia (Azalea), Azalea debut album, 'The New Classic' recently went platinum. Her first single “Fancy” featuring Charli XCX became an instant hit and shot up the Billboard 100 charts to the number 1 spot. While enjoying the success of Fancy, her featured on Ariana Grande hit song 'Problem' also became a Hot 100 chart topper and was number two. Azalea became the only rapper to reached one and two simultaneously with their debut Hot 100 entries, sharing that title with The Beatles. While being celebrated, winning awards and finally living her dreams, her world took a huge hit when others, especially the African American community did not agree with her success and felt that she was over stepping her boundaries as a "white rapper." The hate towards her was unnecessary because music is universal and no one should have to give up on their dreams due to naysayers.
Azalea looked amazing in this look. While on top of the world, the attacks about her being a "White" rapper continued, so much to the point that Azalea said, she contemplated suicide. She took a year break to gather her thoughts and refocus on her career. She returned this year with her first hit single 'Team.' The 'Baby I got me' line in the hook of the song is amazing and sends an incredible message to her young fans. Informing them that no matter what, you do have yourself to rely on when all else fails.
The stunning beauty did not shy away from giving face and body during the shoot. #Legend magazine asked Azalea, "So what can we expect from this latest offering? “With The New Classic, I was definitely trying to break into the mainstream and the album included what I thought would be successful and what people would gravitate to. With Digital Distortion, rather than following the trend, I was trying to create my own trend. The intention is, ‘hey we live in this digital era, it’s really easy for people to distort your character and let the record show, this is my character that can’t really be twisted’, and I’m trying to sonically give you the vibe of what I would want to represent myself as.”
The interview continue: She still wanted to keep it energetic and fun, mostly because that is what her core fan base – the Azaleans – love about her music. Azalea turned to her top pop influence for lyrical inspiration. “This is funny but I really like the Spice Girls and I did think about them a little bit when writing this album,” Azalea says. “One thing I liked was that they would incorporate made-up words like “zig-a-zig-ah” and leave the meaning open to the listeners. I considered that when writing lyrics, caring not as much what the words mean most of the time but leaving the words open to interpretation.”
Congratulations on all of your success Iggy Azalea. Read the full interview here #Legend

After 20 years of doing what he loves, Kobe Bryant played his last game against the Utah Jazz last night and scored 60 points. In true Kobe Bryant fashion, he was at his best. The left image was taken during Bryant first game with the Los Angeles Lakers and the right image was taken last night. After missing his first five shots, many started to panic. People paid a lot of money and came to watch a living legend give them a show and that he did. Bryant hit a 10-footer after a pump fake to the left and made the shot. That started his momentum. He joked that during his years with the Lakers, players and fans always wanted him to pass the ball, but in his final game, things were different and they kept handing him the ball. 60 points later Bryant said, "Man!" he exclaimed after the game when handed a microphone at midcourt. "I can't believe how fast 20 years went by. This is crazy. This is absolutely crazy. We've been through our ups and we've been through our downs. I think the most important part is that we stayed together throughout." "This has been absolutely beautiful. Bryant said afterward, right before a yellow confetti storm took place in the arena. "I can't believe it's come to an end." The final score was 101-96, with the Lakers winning the game. Although bittersweet, thank you Kobe Bryant for bringing excitement to the sport of basketball. Your work ethic is amazing and we are grateful to have watched you all these years. Watch highlights from the pre-game show, the game and more images, below.
Bryant wife of 15-years, Vanessa Bryant shared an intimate moment with just the two of them on the court (top image) before the crowd came. Their two adorable daughters, Natalia Diamante Bryant and Maria-Onore Bryant, were also there to support their dad.
Magic Johnson, who Bryant lists as one of his basketball heroes, did the pre-game honors, calling Bryant the best Lakers player of all time.
About 25 of Bryant's former teammates were at the game. To list a few, Hall of Famer Shaquille O'Neal, Lamar Odom who everyone was happy to see after a scary year he's had. Robert Horry, Rick Fox, Derek Fisher and so much more.

Prayers Up: "PLEASE GOD HELP ME GOD I GOT BABIES PLEASE GOD" Heartbreaking Words From Racquel Smith Former Saints DE Will Smith Wife As She's Wheeled Off On A Stretcher
Most are aware that 34-year-old Will Smith, a former defensive end for the New Orleans Saints was shot and killed at 11: 30pm Saturday night, while in his Mercedes SUV with his wife Racquel Smith, who was also shot in the leg in an apparent road rage attack. Smith was a first round NFL draft pick in 2004 by the Saints and was on the Super Bowl-winning team in 2010. "He ranks fourth among the Saints' all-time sack leaders and is considered one of the franchise's great defensive players." Before his NFL career, Smith earned the All American honors for helping his school, Ohio State University win the 2002 BCS championship. Smith was released by the Saints in 2014, signed to the New England Patriots, but was cut before the start of the season. Read more on yesterday events here.
It was reported that, 28-year-old Cardell Hayes, was driving a Hummer H2 when he careened into the back of Smith Mercedes SUV in the Lower Garden District at Sophie Wright Place and Felicity Street, police confirmed. Smith allegedly "exchanged words" with Hayes, who retrieved a gun, firing six shots according to witnesses. Smith was pronounced dead at the scene, while his wife who was also shot, is recovering in the hospital from two gunshots wounds to the leg. Hayes was taken to New Orleans Parish Prison and booked around 8 a.m. Sunday on second-degree murder.
Before his untimely death, Smith was seen in the above image, posted on social media an hour before his death, with former New Orleans Saints running back Pierre Thomas and former New Orleans Police Department commander Billy Ceravolo. It was alleged that Hayes who is ironically a former security guard for the Saints, did not kill Smith due to road rage or due to exchanged of words, but as revenge. Hayes filed a lawsuit against the city of New Orleans after his father, Anthony Hayes was shot dead by police in 2005, just 500 yards away from where he killed Smith 11 years later. Both shootings occurred at the Felicity street intersection. According to records, Ceravolo in the image above, was named in that lawsuit. The ex-attorney for Hayes provided confirmation that Ceravolo who is a 25-year Veteran was one of the defendants in the case against the city. The former New Orleans Police Department commender told WWLTV that he was not at the scene of the shooting and is friends with Thomas and Smith. According to Hayes current attorney, John Fuller, he told NBC News that his client Hayes was 'not the aggressor' and 'is not guilty'. 'He is completely competent and completely aware of what he did.' Witnesses accounts in videos from the scene below, are completely different from what was initially reported.
Smith wife Racquel, in a gut-wrenching video below can be heard screaming " Please God, help me God, I got babies, please God." Referring to the couple three children. Lisa Mya Smith, William J. Smith, and Wynter Chase Smith. Watch below. We are definitely praying for the family, especially these innocent faces.
Witnesses accounts below, is completely different than the initial report. Hayes current attorney is claiming that the information listed above are all coincidence and that his client car was hit from the back first. He attempted to pull over and called 911, but the Mercedes that hit him (allegedly Smith car), left the scene. Hayes than followed the vehicle to get a license plate, hitting Smith car from the back. Smith got out and also threatened that he had a gun...allegedly. That threat led Hayes to pull out his weapon, killing Smith and injuring his wife. If the claims that Smith hit Hayes car first and fled the scene is accurate, Hayes is in the wrong for following him. He should have stayed parked where his car was hit, call 911 and give a description. Following Smith led to his death. We do understand that, the initial instinct is to follow, but allow law enforcement to do their job. The mindset of, waiting until a gun is produced will be too late for me, so I will end your life first is scary. There are too many coincidence above to ignored. The same street as Hayes father death, the police commander and so much more. We will continue to update you all as the case progress.

Smith wife Racquel Smith, was also shot in the leg twice and was transported to the hospital.
The couple share three children. Lisa Mya Smith, William J. Smith, and Wynter Chase Smith. Having no clue that in a few hours his life on earth would end, Smith posted on Instagram and Twitter the image below with his wife, with the caption, "having a blast at the French Quarter Fest 2016." The Fest is an annual event in the famed New Orleans district.

Hayes was taken to New Orleans Parish Prison and booked around 8 a.m. Sunday on second-degree murder (April 10).
Record shows that Hayes was previously arrested on August 1, 2010 for carrying illegal weapon, illegal possession of codeine and drug paraphernalia. He took a guilty plead in 2012 to weapons and codeine possession charges. He received a 5-year sentence, which was suspended. Hayes withdrew his guilty plead within months. He accepted a reduced weapons charge sentence after pleading guilty again in January 2014, which he received a suspended six-month sentence, records show.
Smith former teammate and a former Saints running back, Pierre Thomas, was seen above visibly distraught as he walks away from the scene to his waiting car, while police continue their investigation.
Smith wife, Racquel Smith who was shot in the leg twice is seen here on a stretcher. The Saints also released a statement. Read below.
Above are a few of the many Tweets that poured in after the horrific and untimely death of Smith. The zero value people place on life is disturbing. We are praying for the family. Our deepest condolences. See more images below and a video dedication Racquel Smith did for her husband before his untimely death.
"All Girls Rock Black Girls We Just On Another Level:" Winner Of The Rock Star Award Rihanna Full Speech At 'Black Girls Rock' Event
Rihanna is a very busy woman. Following her successful newly released album 'Anti' her first single from the album 'Work' ft. Drake is doing very well on the Billboard 100 chart. The song is currently at number one again for the seventh consecutive week. Rihanna is also on her Anti tour at the moment, but took a break to attend BET's 'Black Girls Rock' event last week. The event aired last night on BET. Rihanna was honored and received the 'Rock Star Award.' During her speech, the hit-maker said that her mother and grandmother are "two of the strongest black women I know," as she thanked them. Rihanna continued her speech by saying, "in a world that doesn't celebrate us enough, I believe God put us all here for a reason and we all have our purpose and we are here to fulfill our purpose individually." Watch the full speech below.
She continued "I think the thing that's kept me sane, the thing that's kept me humble, the thing that's kept me successful is being myself. I only know how to do that. This world is so big and it can be so confusing at times that you tend to forget and you tend to be so indented or tainted by society and the only thing that's kept me going is being myself. And the minute you learn to love yourself you would not want to be anybody else." Rihanna also jokingly said, "role model is not a title she gets often but this award came with some real significance.' "Tonight is so important to me because I think I can inspire a lot of young women to be themselves and that is half the battle, that is it. Just be yourself, it's the easiest thing to be. All girls rock. Black girls, we just on another level."
