'Feeling Myself': Nicki Minaj Congratulates Zendaya On Her New Barbie Doll & Plugs Her Doll While Doing It
Guiliana Rancic, host of E Fashion Police attempted a comical approach while critiquing actress and singer Zendaya look for the Oscars. Rancic pushed the envelope on that episode, when she said this about Zendaya, "I feel like she smells like patchouli oil... or maybe weed." During the segment on the Academy Awards, which led to a major controversy. Read more on that here.
The people at Barbie were so impressed by Zendaya response and reaction to the situation and what she represents at such a young age, that they decided to make a Barbie with the outfit and hair that was criticized. People are very consumed with who can have the best disrespectful and most hurtful response or "clapback" as it is often referred to, however Zendaya always take a more muture approach. Nicki Minaj decided to congratulate Zendaya, but instead of sending a simple "Congratulations message," she decided to make the moment about her. Read below.
The doll is gorgeous. Many are upset with Minaj because she reminded everyone that she too had a Barbie doll made for her. The move is being called tacky, tasteless and so many other names that I cannot post. Zendaya being her gracious self, responded with the Tweet below
Congratulations again on your Barbie Doll Zendaya.

Actor and comedian Anthony Anderson and wife of twenty years Alvina Anderson are heading for divorce. According to TMZ. With his show "Black Ish" and his career going exceptionally well, it must be devastating that his personal life isn't going as planned. The two were high school sweetheart. Alvina cited irreconcilable differences in the documents. She is requesting spousal support and legal joint custody of their children. They share two children. 19-year-old daughter Kyra and 15-year-old son Nathan. Image below.
Although sad, only the two knows what went wrong in their marriage and if this is the best decision for their family, than so be it. Wishing you both the best.
Republican House Speaker John Boehner will resign his position as Speaker in October. NBC news has confirmed. An aide to Boehner told NBC News that the Speaker “believes putting members through prolonged leadership turmoil would do irreparable damage to the institution. He is proud of what this majority has accomplished, and his Speakership, but for the good of the Republican Conference and the institution, he will resign the Speakership and his seat in Congress, effective October 30.”
Boehner had done everything in his power to fight and block all of the laws and improvements that are now working in America's favor that president Obama administration brought to the table. The president however was able to get his way and do what's best for the country. These issues led to the GOP conservatives accusing Boehner for not doing enough to stop president Obama. Issues like the legislation that would continue to fund the government and avoid a government shutdown again, as we all remembered how disgusting it was to watch leaders behave so terribly, sending the country in panic mode before coming to an agreement during the last shutdown. Obamacare was also another hot topic that was blocked, but now has insured many Americans.
During Pope Francis addressed at a joint session of the House, Boehner a devout Catholic was brought to tears. He revealed his decision at a conference of party representatives this morning. Speaking to DailyMail, Boehner aide slso said, 'Speaker Boehner believes that the first job of any Speaker is to protect this institution and, as we saw yesterday with the Holy Father, it is the one thing that unites and inspires us all.'
Conservative lawmakers in Boehner's chamber who felt that he wasn't conservative enough, were plotting to remove him from his position. During their Annual Values Voters Summit, Florida Senator and Republican presidential candidate, Marco Rubio told his colleagues, 'Just a few minutes ago, Speaker John Boehner announced he's retiring from Congress.' To which, they all cheered. To aviod another government shutdown, Congress must approve a set of spending bills no later than September 30 or history will repeat itself.
House and Senate leadership opposed to the idea of course. Speaking on his critics who said that, 'he was not challenging the president because he's not as conservative as they are,' Boehner said, 'When I voted regularly, I had the eighth most conservative voting record in Congress,' he told Politico last weekend, over the phone. 'And the idea that I’m the establishment, that I’m some RINO, is just laughable. It really is.' Via DailyMail.
When it's all said and done, it comes down to doing what is best for you and your family. Apart of walking in your purpose, brings peace, happiness and fulfillment. Your work doesn't seem like work because you're passionate about it. When it starts to feel like work and a hateful relationship, it is time to leave. Differences or not, we respect your decision and wishing you the best as you move forward in life. Enjoy your long days of rest and vacation because I am sure it is much needed. In November, of course.

'The Only Thing That Separates Women Of Color From Anyone Else Is Opportunity': Viola Davis Powerful Speech As She Becomes The First Black Woman To Win An Emmy For Best Actress In A Drama
Congratulations: Viola Davis became the first black woman to win an Emmy for Best Actress In A Drama, for the hit television series, How To Get Away With murder, last nights award ceremony. at last nights award ceremony. She begin her speech with a Harriet Tubman quote, 'In my mind, I see a line. And over that line, I see green fields and lovely flowers and beautiful white women with their arms stretched out to me, over that line. But I can't seem to get there no how. I can't seem to get over that line.' That was Harriet Tubman in the 1800s.'
She continued, 'And let me tell you something: The only thing that separates women of color from anyone else is opportunity. You cannot win an Emmy for roles that are simply not there. So here's to all the writers, the awesome people that are Ben Sherwood, Paul Lee, Peter Nowalk, Shonda Rhimes, people who have redefined what it means to be beautiful, to be sexy, to be a leading woman, to be black.'
As Kerry Washinghton and Taraji P Henson Looked on, Davis decided to share her moment, by mentioning their names in her speech and others, not present at the award. She said, 'And to the Taraji P. Hensons, the Kerry Washingtons, the Halle Berrys, the Nicole Beharies, the Meagan Goods, to Gabrielle Union: Thank you for taking us over that line. Thank you to the Television Academy. Thank you.' Watch the full speech, below.
Beautiful actress Megan Good who was mentioned in the speech, posted a short portion of the speech mentioning her name and posted a heartfelt 'Thank you" message on her Instagram page. Read below.
Also amazed by Davis gesture to share her historic moment, was hit television series, Being Mary Jane leading actress Gabrielle Union, who Tweeted her excitement and another thank you message.
Her number one fan and supportive husband, Julius Tennon, was also present to cheer his wife of twelve years on. Davis received, more congratulatory Tweets.
Although most celebrated her win, there was one Tweet that set off a firestorm of criticism.
General Hospital. Actress Nancy Lee Grahn, was not a fan of Davis speech and historic moment. She Tweeted, "I wish I loved #ViolaDavis Speech, but I thought she should have let @shondarhimes write it." Second Tweet: "Im a f--king actress for 40 yrs. None of us get respect or opportunity we deserve. Emmys not venue 4 racial opportunity. ALL women belittled. I think she's the bees knees but she's elite of TV performers. Brilliant as she is. She has never been discriminated against."
The backlash was immediate, leading Grahn to delete her Tweets and apologized. "I never mean to diminish her accomplishment. I wish I could get her roles. She is a goddess. I want equality 4 ALL women, not just actors," she wrote. "I apologize 2 anyone who I offended. I'm women advocate since I became one. After reading responses, I hear u and my tweet was badly phrased."
She continued: "I apologize for my earlier tweets and now realize I need to check my own privilege," Grahn wrote. "My intention was not to take this historic and important moment from Viola Davis or other women of color but I realize that my intention doesn't matter here because that is what I ended up doing. I learned a lot tonight and I admit that there are still some things I don't understand but I am trying to and will let this be a learning experience for me."
Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but the timing was wrong. People need to learn to count to ten, breathe and step away from social media at times in the heat of the moment, to avoid having to apologize for poor choice of words. Congratulations again Viola Davis.
Hit reality television series, Love and Hip Hop New York alum, Erica Mena left the show to focus on her relationship and up and coming marriage to Shad Moss, known as rapper, Bow Wow. The two did a wedding shoot with People magazine.
The two has been friends for a while and are both parents. Mena has a son from a previous relationship and Moss has a daughter from her previous relationship as well.
Excited about her up and coming nuptials, she shared wedding dresses idea on her Instagram page, but under all the smile was a devastating news lingering. Mena revealed a few days ago that she and fiancé Moss was expecting their first child together, but she had a miscarriage. Read below.
Moss wasn't too please with her revelation and posted the videos below.
What a hypocrite and how insensitive to say she is seeking attention. As a public figure, the paltform is there to share experiences that can help others going through what you are. There are people who are turned off by the constant posting about material things Moss post and speak about, but his words about wealth, hard work and dedication to obtained and sustained it, helps motivate those seeking the same. How is that any different from his Fiancée wanting to open up to her fans who are the reason she is where she is today. If they did not tuned in to watch her hit show, she wouldn't have become a household name.
These videos are attention seeking as well. Take your own advice and discuss this with her off social media. She lost a child. It doesn't take five months to get over that. There are some who never do. The constant thought process of what could have been linger forever. It is understandable if Moss is still dealing with the devastation of the lost and what could've been. Maybe he is upset that after getting to a point to deal, he was reminded of the painful experience and old wounds were reopened after Mena's post. If not, apologize to your Fiancée and take your own advice about placing personal matter on social media. Discuss the issue with her, not social media. Mena responded below.
Social media doesn't kill relationships, people do. These electronic devices, do not pick themselves up and share users business, the users do. Wishing the two of you the best. God Bless you both.
Happy 44 Birthday to the amazing Jada Pinkett Smith. Her husband of almost twenty years, Will Smith posted a heartfelt message on Facebook for his beautiful wife today. Read below.
Married for eighteen years and together for twenty years, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith continues to defy the odds in Hollywood as it relates to a long lasting marriage. Many did not think it would work, seeing that this was Will second marriage, but they have continued to prove the world wrong. The couple was in the news a few months ago about the end of their marriage. Both have explained how hard marraige is, but have always managed to keep it together. In many interviews, Will has said that "Divorce is not an option."
News broke on many media outlets that the couple was once again heading for a $240 million dollars divorce. They normally do not address rumors because they're aware that it comes with the territory, but Will released the above statement. The media has finally settled down this time leaving these two alone for now. Will posted his amazing Birthday message to his wife on Facebook today, wishing her a Happy Birthday. Read below.
The amazing actor had hearts gushing this morning with the above message on different media outlets. Continue to enjoy each other, as you grow and walk in your purpose together. The couple have three children (old family image below). Oldest son Trey from Will previous marriage and Willow and Jaden from his marriage with Jada. We're glad that the divorce rumors are just that. Continue to set an example. Eighteen years of marriage and twenty years together is amazing, especially in Hollywood.

She continued: I wasn’t allowed to go to school. We were basically locked up in the house. The curtains were shut all the time, and we were just burning papers.” She says the experience made her resilient. “I was definitely exposed to some extreme situations. Tragedy is something that I have known and that I have tried to accept as part of life. But I don’t dwell on it.
About acting she said: "I’m definitely attracted to more dramatic roles. I like playing characters that stretch me."
Via Vogue online:
She just spent four months filming a CGI character—a pirate named Maz Kanata—for J. J. Abrams’s Star Wars: The Force Awakens, opening this December.
“We needed a powerful actress to play a powerful character,” the director explains, “Lupita was someone I’d known a little and was enormously fond of. More important, her performance in 12 Years a Slave blew my mind, and I was vaguely desperate to work with her.”
To read the full interview article, visit Vogue online. Congratulations Lupita. You look absolutely stunning as usual. Your skintone is flawless, the makeup color and clothing choices were perfectly done. The interview was great as well. Keep up the great work and keep representing women of power in Hollywood.
