After covering Super Bowl XLIX in Phoenix Arizona, former defensive tackle and Hall of Famer Warren Sapp was arrested for soliciting a prostitute around 7am, according to TMZ. He was also arrested for assault. According to acting Phoenix Police Chief Joe Yahner. "The alleged assault, was argument over money and occurred inside the Renaissance Hotel in downtown Phoenix after 'an act of prostitution occurred,' Yahner said, "the victims were two women. They had minor injuries," he said. The assault was reported by the women and responding officers arrested Sapp.
Sapp was once a competitor on ABC’s Dancing With The Stars Season 7 and was the runner-up.
It seems as though the Super Bowl does something to Sapp because while covering Super Bowl XLIV in 2010, the Inside The NFL analyst was arrested for domestic battery. Those charges were dropped a month later. 2014 brought another Domestic battery charge while visiting Miami. Story developing and will be updated as more information are released.
