Gone Too Soon: While returning from an appearance at Anglers bar and restaurant on March 3, 2017, Liberian artist Quincy L. Burrowes, 'Quincy B' 23, died in a car crash. According to reports, "his car lost control and summersaulted opposite the Monrovia City Hall." Colleagues CIC (who legs were broken), Margas Bimba and Feouls Kaba were with him.
Burrowes was the driver of the vehicle. He and his colleagues were rushed to 'J.F.K.' hospital, where he was pronounced dead, although reports claimed that he died at the scene of the crash. Before his death, he was excited about the released of his latest single 'I Pledge' featuring Musulyn Myers 'Sweetz.' Outside of music, he used his platform to advocate "for musicians rights and encouraging other artists to have lawyers represent them when signing endorsement deals." As his family mourn, an disturbing image of Burrowes dead body surfaced online. His grief-stricken manager, Lewiz McCarthy pleaded with those social media pages posting the image to please take it down. 'J.F.K.' hospital staff and security team were questioned about the image being leaked.
The hospital public relation officer, Amara Kamara quickly denied all claims that the hospital released the images saying it was taken before Burrowes arrival to the hospital. His body is now at the Samuel Stryker Funeral Parlor. So sad that people are exploiting his death. 'View a few of his videos below. Praying for his family.
