Winners Don't Quit and Quitters Don't Win: Mariah Carey Continue To Perform and Be Great Through All The Criticism About Her Voice
Mariah Carey performed at the Beacon Theatre a few days ago. The icon looked fabulous in a red sequins dress.
During the sold out show, the singer wow the crowd with her greatest hits and of course some Christmas tune. I mean, she's the Queen of Christmas music. Her 'All I Want For Christmas is You' continues to be highly successful after all these years.
The singer did have a bit of an emotional moment while on stage. It seems as though, either everything she’s been through finally got to her or she was grateful that through it all her true fans continues to support her. With all the voice issues while on tour oversees and recently, her performance of 'All I Want for Christmas Is You' at the Rockefeller Center tree-lighting ceremony, not going as planned, she has continued to performed. She has not allowed the negativity stop her from doing what she loves.
A few social media comment were, "Mariah Carey and all her millions can have several seats, what do I care for a woman who can buy my life." Mariah Carey can cry me a river." Yes, although Mariah is financially stable, she is still a human being going through a difficult time at the moment. People are calling her unpleasant names because of her recent weight gain, her marriage is on the rocks and her most recent album didn’t do well at all. I admire her strength.
I think she looks great. With all the money she has, she can afford to go away for a while, spend more time with her children, relax and reflect on her life, however this woman continues to strive and do what she loves. She continues to use her gift. Yes, she’s had her off key and pitchy moments, but the media negativity has yet to stop her from picking up that Mic and doing what she does best. We can all learn something great from her perseverance.
I understand that she's a celebrity and should understand that it all comes with the territory. She knows this, she's an icon, which is why she haven't allowed Cyber bullies or the media back her into a corner or into depression and for that we love her. Continue to be great Queen. God Bless you and your family.
